Little P's Scavenger Hunt
This year’s scavenger hunt was definitely a success, and it's no wonder that we hope it continues to be an annual tradition for the Little P's. It's one of the best ways to get freshman oriented and exposed to the some of Austin's most recognizable landmarks--and all within walking(sprinting) distance! About 50 classy Plan II freshmen showed up to get a better feel of campus as well as downtown Austin. As veterans of the hunt, the team leaders easily guided their teams all the way downtown where photo-stops at Paramount Theater and 6th Street led them to success, and by the finish it was not all too surprising that most of the teams accomplished almost all of the tasks. It was a race to the finish but in the end two teams came in with a tie. What else is there to do other than a….DANCE OFF?! One representative from each team stepped up to the plate and got their groove on. Clothes flew, booties shook, and laughter ensued. However, in the end, the sex appeal of Loktao Shing won the crowd over and Victoria Haas’ team had first picks on the prizes ranging from a 6 Movie DVD featuring such titles as Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus, and princess wands. In the end there were no losers because there were ice pops for all!
