P2SA Volunteers with Austin Pets Alive!

In September, the officers of P2SA came together to help Austin Pets Alive! with an event promoting the adoption of abandoned cats and dogs in the Austin area. Austin Pets Alive! was founded in 2008 as a no-kill animal rescue team, taking in all of the animals that the Town Lake Animal Center could no longer support and would otherwise euthanize. Austin Pets Alive!'s efforts have saved the lives of thousands of animals and found many of them new, loving homes.

The P2SA Officers were given a great chance to give back to Austin Pets Alive!: from helping sell baked goods to raise funds for the non-profit organization, to holding and playing with adorable abandoned kittens, good times were had by all. A huge thanks to the amazing Volunteer Chairs, Laura Wright and Edgar Walters, for putting together this volunteering outing.
