The Broccoli Project
Little P’s- Little P’s is a P2SA organization committed to the integration, growth and cohesion of the freshman class. We want to encourage Plan II freshman to become leaders in Plan II, the University, and the Austin Community. Little P’s host the annual Powder-puff Football Game in the Fall (underclassmen vs. upperclassmen) and the much anticipated Mr. Plan II pageant in the Spring that searches for the sexiest, savviest, smartest male in Plan II. We hope to create a community not only within the Plan II freshman class but also integrate them with the upperclassmen through socials and hosting various events. Please contact Little P's Coordinators: Stephanie Ham (stephanieham1@gmail.com) and Victoria Haas (vhaas3@gmail.com).
Plan II Business- The Plan II Business Association serves as an organized community of Plan II students interested in business, either professionally or academically. It provides a forum to discuss current events, career development, and common interests. The organization aims to connect members with relevant internship opportunities as well as to enrich the greater Plan II community through keynote speakers, social events, and service projects. The organization now offers financial investment learning opportunities to the Plan II community through the Plan II Investment Club, which will take a ground-up approach to valuation and investment techniques that will prepare members for personal investment or for a career in finance. For more information, please contact us at plan2ba@gmail.com.
Plan II Chamber Music- Do you play an instrument or sing? Are you looking for fun and relaxing opportunities to perform music? Look no further than the Plan II Chamber Music Society!
Members form into ensembles of like-minded, compatible students and rehearse independently throughout the semester in preparation to perform in a formal recital at the end of each semester. The sky's the limit - play jazz, sing, and rock out to your heart's content! Other activities include, attending concerts and musicals as a group, masterclasses and coaching sessions with UT Butler School of Music faculty, performing for community service, and sight-reading parties with desserts on the side. It's a great opportunity to enjoy and perform music in a laid-back, close-knit group!
